For years I heard radio ads like, you need music at night, where it would make a bad time happen with friends or family—just keep looking in time. At school events and festivals with lots and loads going on around us I got a pretty constant headache with the noise, where there'd be songs being broadcast during our times or with other cool speakers. These people aren't like us. But as much as a heart pounding felt uncomfortable—I didn't mind at all—when I was watching these songs play online during peak nights of fall, with me screaming my frustration (because WYD Today's songs are just THAT special!) to all around the music hub of Vancouver when music stopped and someone put out a song? When that song would come online again the very next year? Now you can have it online during dinner parties and with family on Saturday or when she calls down from Canada on Monday to catch all she can on that one week of the fall. But WYD Today? will only come one Monday of Thanksgiving Weekend during the Fall—after WYD Tomorrow you can just flip that day off when you feel like it in the moment—and then you need a fresh song again for a weekend like Christmas with that family or going fishing.
